So I have one pair that I’ve been using and a spare that are still brand new! I’ve used these gloves mainly for chopping kindling, moving logs around, and splitting wood. It’s my first year heating my house with a wood stove, and I split-stacked-burned four cords of wood with these gloves. I got these after a splinter from a piece of wood stabbed one of my fingers about half and inch deep under a nail. Ouch!The only issues so far is that I’ve just had them for a few months and The nitrile coating has come off in some important areas on finger tips and thumb webbing. I’m getting a bit worried that they won’t protect me from punctures as much in these areas now. Thinking about painting a little flex seal on those areas lol.These gloves have prevented me from any more cuts and stabs so far, and they were pretty cheap as well I got a few pair. A good deal for me I think even if they only last one heating season. It helps me to work with the wood a lot faster than when I was just bare handed. Also wear them when out in the forest cutting down trees or hiking in my woods.
