I thought it would be the most plastic barbie hair ever. But its not that bad. It kind of reminds me of dog hair. Like from a collie. Lol! It does shed alot. I figure it's better then I was expecting so I thought 3 stars seemed appropriate.I was surprised when the box said 'human hair.' I burned a piece of it and it smelled like burning hair. So maybe its a mix?Anyway, I thought I would try to dye it to see if it would take the color and it surprised me again! It took the direct dye like real hair. I used pravana vivids and Sally's ion titanium semi permanent on the end for the grey. It looks about right for 613 hair.My only real gripe was that the closure was sewn using black thread. Its totally visible. If you were going to wear this hair and leave it light, you would have to re sew it or glue it. I'm not sure how it really works. I would recommend for any DIYers out there looking to experiment with weaves or wig making at a low price.
