It does alert pedestrians that I'm about to pass without having to constantly shout out "passing". Rail trails have become extremely popular, particularily for walkers and I do also walk the trails.I find that other than the bicycle bell sound, the other options are obnoxious.I'd previously tried the small ding bells, but the alert was just too dim for many to hear.My only issue was with the mounting straps. They were too short for my handlebars. This issue was quickly resolved with some silicone tubing that I had laying around.I just didn't have any room left on my handlebars for the old fashioned bell.The big advantage with this device is volume control and it's about the same price as an old fashioned bicycle bell. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits the MX650 perfectly *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2020* The media could not be loaded.  Fits the mx 650 perfectly!
