Review: Elegant - This umbrella is very elegant. It is all lace and would not be useable for rain or keeping the sun off but I didn’t buy it for either of those reasons. My husband and I are going on a steam paddle boat cruise along the Mississippi River and we thought it would be fun to dress up a couple of nights for dinner in period costumes. The umbrella will be a lovely addition to the dress. I don’t expect it to be durable but I think it will be fine with reasonable care.

The option for a refund or replacement is available & I received a response almost immediately :) Although, I was disappointed with the quality of the item. The main metal rod seemed to snap pretty easily and the smaller metal pieces that make the umbrella expand were very weak as well but not to the point where it's unusable. I also don't recommend using this umbrella for sun protection, as it's more of a costume prop.

This umbrella is very elegant. It is all lace and would not be useable for rain or keeping the sun off but I didn’t buy it for either of those reasons. My husband and I are going on a steam paddle boat cruise along the Mississippi River and we thought it would be fun to dress up a couple of nights for dinner in period costumes. The umbrella will be a lovely addition to the dress. I don’t expect it to be durable but I think it will be fine with reasonable care.
