I wanted a quality helmet that fit a budget. This one I'm happy with. I kind of like the ratcheting chin strap but could do without since it's plastic. Would prefer a metal buckle like my others, however this type is easier for kids to adjust. Padding is great, goggles are decent, gloves are ehhh decent. We left sunshade off. Its flimsy but would work. As far as size. Use common sense if you measure toward upper end on chart just go next size up if you don't like it tight.
