This product is likely to be most effective on less durable woods, like thinly sawn pine and spruce. **Q: Can this be put on a shed after using silka wood preserver?** A: I am not certain but I seem to recall the instructions refer to going on to clean, dry wood. It seems to need to soak in to provide a waxy layer. Try a patch and see how it goes? **Q: Would this be good to use in new decking and keep the original colour** A: We used this cream on a driveway gate which although had been treated before fitting has now reached an age where it needs more protection.
