The photo is misleading because it looks like a 'proper' coir mat but is actually just that pattern printed on something very thin. The other misleading thing was the price because when a doormat costs this much you expect something a lot more substantial.Personally I don't think it is suitable for use outside the front door. We have very little clearance between our front door and the hallway floor so had thought it was not possible to have a mat indoors, but this thing is so flimsy (no way is it 15mm thick as described!) that it will actually work inside the front door so that is where it is sitting now, even though it is not a design I would have chosen for indoors and costs more than it should for what it is.There are lots of doormats on here that are both better and cheaper.
