It shows up on an online app exactly where you are/been.The choices of clock faces are helpful as they vary in size.The battery needs a quick charge around 5 to 7 days.I've tried drowning the watch in a multitude of ways and depths, it still continues working perfectly. It refused to die.Setting it up, it basically sets itself up.The H Band app I love it. I can view my every action from day one, which has been helpful as I can send my information to my friend.To cut to the quick ... It's fantastic, the sleeping app is just about perfect. I've neurotically challenged it to catch it out. You see, it was easy to realize the benefits, be it walking, cycling, and running. I'm amazed how many steps I take when just playing with the dog.I've seen similar watches at the higher and lower range most have been faulty in the time I've owned this one.I enjoys seeing my emails, texting apps and being told me hasn't moved for an hour.Overall I cannot fault this amazing (to me) watch.Many other watches don’t have the heart rate nor are they waterproof. I knew absolutely nothing about fitness watches or their apps - and chose one that was reasonably priced and had fairly good reviews. Well, that didn't work out too well and I had to return it. I learned a couple of things from that watch - it's important to have an adjustable 'wrist turn' feature... 1/3 of the time, I couldn't get that watch to 'wake up' and thought I was going to sprain my wrist...that particular watch also had an issue connecting to Bluetooth and staying connected and I didn't like the app that was associated with that watch.I took another look at the reasonably priced fitness watches on Amazon...I read the reviews, looked at the ratings and one of the most important things that I did was I also went to Google Play Store and read the reviews of the app that particular watch used. You may really like a watch, but, if it's not a good app - you probably won't like your watch for very long.Based on the Amazon reviews and the Google Play Store reviews of the H Band app - I selected the HalfSun.It's reasonably priced.....has a setting to increase or decrease wrist turn sensitivity...choice of watch faces....the usual alarms...notifies you of gmail, sms etc.... monitors heart rate and blood pressure among other things. (If you have blood pressure issues, it's important to remember that the watch should only be a guide....and you should still use your BP cuff to monitor your BP.) Of course, it monitors your steps and running, etc.Setup was pretty easy, the next day I did have an issue with connectivity and receiving notifications about Facebook, Ins etc.I hope this information is helpful to anyone considering their first fitness tracker watch.
