This tripod worked very well under the conditions in the mountains. I never had a problem getting it to stay level on rocky surfaces (with some adjusting, that is), and its lightweight frame made it easy to carry around in my backpack.The only real drawbacks I noticed were its size, which was bigger than I expected, and the camera plate. It was too large to strap to the side of my bag, so I had to carry it in a large pocket (which wasn't a huge issue this time, but could be for those who are carrying a lot more camera gear than I was). The camera plate also felt a bit flimsy, and the mount I screwed on wasn't very sturdy. These are minor drawbacks overall, especially given that the price is great for what you do get.This is an excellent tripod for professional photographers and videographers who are on a small budget, as well as casual ones who just want something cheap and efficient. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the better beginner tripods! *by G***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2019* I've purchased a few sub 50$ tripods and they've all been about the same, unstable when set the the max hight. This tripods a bit different, it's got wide circular rubber feet that can move based on the terrain. With that one addition it feels way more stable. It has a quick release mount for your device. It's built from some plastic and some metal parts but overall it feels really stable for the price. I'd say this is a perfect tripod for a beginner that's not looking to spend more than 50$. Also it comes with a small travel bag where everything fits into it.
