Unfortunately, the metal grommets for the holes all along the strap don't take too well to this type of bending over a long period of time, and will wear and fray and may eventually work free and fall out.That said, this is a very find strap, the canvas is gorgeous and the quality of stitching and finishing is superb. The grommets do make it hard to put on some watches (you may want to remove the pin to avoid scratching your case). Once on though this is very comfortable and looks awesome. I bought one of those seat belt material nato straps at the same time and it doesn't look nearly as good and after a day or two of wearing is fraying a little. I suppose u could move band to a specific location and insert link pins;however u can not install this band according to nato band instructions.
