I searched for a couple of months before finally making a decision on this one. I have two small children and a dog so I needed something durable but soft and beautiful. That was hard to find! After reading all the reviews on this rug and looking at every picture at least three times I finally made the purchase.Received the rug today so I haven’t had to clean it yet which is why I only gave that section and stain resistance a 4 star rating.For softness: it’s not the softest rug I’ve ever put my feet on but it’s soft enough. I read a review that mentioned the high low manufacturing of the rug and the low material being like a bamboo mat. I would have to agree with that statement but, for me, needing the durability it works great and in my opinion doesn’t take away from the beauty of the rug. I still think it’s pretty and the so called bamboo like material will actually help with durability for my crew. (Sorry for the major run on sentence!) I may revisit this review in a month but for now I think the material will be great. I was looking at this line, the My Texas House by Orian rugs for our bedroom, but will not get this specific rug for our bedroom because I would like something more soft and without the bamboo like material in that room. I want the entire rug to be super soft.I will be purchasing a mat to go underneath because it is thin. A mat will help cushion the floor for my little ones and help with sliding.Overall, I love the rug and I’m very happy with my purchase! I will buy this brand again in a runner for my hallway.Photos: a little dark and yellow because of terrible lighting but the color of the rug is a beautiful bright cream color. The so called bamboo like material is more on the grey side.
