Yamayoshi Hot Wasabi Potato Chips, Wasa-beef 2.1oz

These are my new favorite snack food! I bought some to try after Sharla in Japan mentioned them on her YouTube channel, and she was sooooo right! These things are absolutely addictive!Since they take forever to ship from Japan, I may try making a clone by taking the lightly salted Lay's potato chips and shaking them in a bag with beef flavored ramen noodle seasoning and wasabi powder. I believe it would taste very similar! Of course, nothing will taste quite the same as these. They are amazing!They have a great blend of salty, slightly sweet, and umami favors with just a hint of heat fro, the wasabi. Perfection!

Love the potato chips, but wish it was more affordable! Would definitely buy it regularly if it was.

I bought this as a gift. A girl living in Japan, Canadian or American girl, posted a video on You Tube and she loved them with a great passion. So, I just had to buy some for my brother's birthday. He thought they would be a little more spicy but he liked them. Yes they were expensive but for a one time surprise gift, it was worth it. Yes it took a while to get here but Japan is quite a distance from here.They came on time and in good condition.

Being a fan of Wasabi, I had to order some of these to try out. My hope would be that they would be spicy, since they say "Hot" in the title. Unfortunately, this is not the case. They don't even have a hint of spicy heat. Yes, they do have the mild taste of Wasabi on the chips, but that is all. So, the title is very misleading. Don't get me wrong, though, they are good potato chips, but nowhere near as special as they ought to be if they actually had hot Wasabi powder on them. So, in short, don't waste your money if heat is what you are looking for.

Best potato chips I have ever had. I had these while visiting Japan and was very happy to see them here on Amazon. I hope they get more because I will definitely order them.

Had to give em 2 stars for effort, but these were not worthy of buying again.The wasabi taste is very faint, and as for the BEEF flavor, it reminds me of the first time I tasted straight msg... I assume that's what they used to give the illusion of beef.Should be called MSG AND LIGHT WASABI FLAVOR.

These chips are amazing. Not overly spicy perfectly flavored between a salty beef flavor and a slightly sweet wasabi. I really wish they sold these everywhere.
