Some Minor Downsides, but Otherwise a Fun VR Toy
This device works for Google Cardboard, but there are three big gripes that you should be aware of:1. Little to no room for glasses. Pretty common for these types of items, just keep it in mind.2. Weak adhesive tape. This is held together by double-stick adhesive. However, the adhesive is weak. After putting it on my big ol' head a few times, the strength of the elastic pulling the viewer against my face won out over the adhesive, and the left edge of the viewer came apart and it hasn't been the same since.3. It's difficult to access the actual screen and change/touch to phone when it's in use. This is pretty common for Google Cardboard, but it makes browsing videos or any other apps much more difficult, since the phone relies on screen interaction to navigate.Otherwise - it's a neat toy! It's worth the small cost here to have a VR toy in your pocket. Don't expect it to do the fancy things that new products like the Vive or Oculus can, but it's neat to play around with.

Cant best the price.
This is such a great idea, I really wanted to try virtual reality but didnt have $500 to invest in a full sized VR headset, and didn't even know if I wanted one that bad. This allowed me to give it a try and essentially sink my teeth into VR, and I was immediately hooked. This doesn't quite deliver the full immersion experience you read about with VR because you can still see the edges and a little surrounding area outside of the headset, but for the price it is amazing what you can do with it. One of the funniest things I've ever seen is when I just put it on my Father without telling him what it was, and telling him to look around. I still dont think he's fully wrapped his head around it haha.

The original Cardboard at a great price.
This thing is awesome. I've been having a lot of fun with this and sharing it with friends.Google seems to have stopped selling the original cardboard directly, but here it is. This was also by far the cheapest pre-built cardboard out there. Yes, some of the pricier ones are probably more sturdy or look better, but this works well and has the original look.IssuesMy somewhat large phone sometime sits a little crooked and needs to be adjusted often. It was very uncomfortable on my nose. I taped cotton balls to it to make it more comfortable and also improve the angle it makes with my face. The trigger works about 90% of the time. What do you expect? It's made of cardboard.

Fun for first time VR users
Good quality for what it is, easy enough to put together with the included instructions, but it does have some problems holding the side with magnetic control together, I am thinking of reinforcing it with some glue. Barely fits my phone S5 active and magnetic control works one time in 20 or so if the phone is facing one way but that side also tends to hit the power button on the top strap turning it off.Not too bad, good for the price, its a fun simple gimmicky gift.Don't really know what I'm supposed to do with the included rubber band

This is great for the cost
This is great for the cost. It was quick and easy to assemble; I was using it within minutes of opening the box. The strap definitely helps when using it while seated. However, it's not super comfortable. Some foam padding for the forehead and nose section would be a great addition.

Not adjustable where you need it.
Works okay for the price, but works better for people with the average distance between their eyes. My eyes are closer together than other people, so it wasn't of much use to me. There was no way to adjust for this discrepancy; something I would suggest be incorporated into future versions.

As expected for a piece of cardboard.
The concept is very cool. Some of the apps are neat to play around with, but it is still a bit limited on what you can do. The cardboard works, but ya know, it is cardboard. My kids really liked playing with it, but I have to keep fixing it and taping it back together.

The cover fits over a standard case. Nice!
I bought this after looking at various vendor reviews for Cardboard. This was a good deal. I was worried that it wouldn't fit because I had a thin rubber case (not Otterbox) on my phone. But it fit perfectly. Will work with phones that are size of a Nexus 5 or Galaxy 3. Will not fit newer, "longer" sized devices like the G4 or the OnePlusOne.
