Even at full price it would be a bargain if it sported a recognizable brand name which did not carry the Stagg stigma.... Beautiful guitar, setup was great, much better than the hugely popular Yamaha FG700 I got recently (great guitar as well, but not nearly as nice as this one). Not mentioned in the description is that it comes with D'Addario EXP strings and Nu-bone Nut & (compensated) saddle, this is very unusual for a guitar in this price range. A third tag says guitar has a non-transferable lifetime warranty on manufacturer defects, this was another great surprise for me. The size I really love, similar to a Taylor Grand Concert I think but need to get my measuring tape out as James Neligan website doesn't provides dimensions...Took a gamble ordering a guitar from a brand I knew little about and feel like I hit the jackpot. Only reviews I could find except were the sole one, a youtube video I didn't really understood (french magazine, Guitare Seche...) and a written one from a Netherlands magazine that google kindly translated for me :-). The back looks more like Walnut than Rosewood though... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great guitar! *by R***R on January 14, 2025* I've had quite a few acoustics. I saw this listed on my local FB marketplace for $50. When I saw it in person, it seemed like a pretty nice guitar. The strings were old and it was pretty dirty. Cleaned it up and put new strings on it and I was amazed. Neck is perfect. Beautiful rosewood board and bridge. Has a thin open pore varnish instead of the thick poly. This thing sings for days. Intonation is perfect. I love the bound neck and the double binding on the body really stands out. Nu-bone nut & saddle instead of the plastic most guitars in this price range have.
