I remember a few years ago, that would get you a literal can with no fittings, no filter media, no drain valve, etc. That said, you might need to take a trip to autozone to get the tank to 100%, but for the price, it’s still worth it.I actually used this as an expansion tank to catch / drain my diff fluid as I drove the car around, so functionally, it’s a lot easier to deal with than a catch can. I did need to shave down some threads of the connector I screwed into the bottom to try to form a flat “floor.” Otherwise, there’d always be some level of fluid that wouldn’t be able to drain back into my diff after the car cools down.- loctite thread sealant: the drain valve on the bottom looks to be npt (designed to seal at the threads), dabbing some on before install would probably be a good idea to preempt any leaks.- top connectors seal with o rings that are provided. My use case doesn’t need it to be air tight, but if these leak, I’m guessing a crush washer would be an alternative. You can use thread sealant on this too, but the connector wasn’t designed to seal at the threads. Not sure how well this would work, though it sounds like some other reviewers used it to solve their issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised *by W***I on Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2020* The can is small so it can be mounted in lots of places. The port fittings are plastic but if you use a little Teflon tape you don't have to over tighten them to get a good seal. The valve on the bottom is very handy so you can run a piece of clear tubing down close to the frame, in my case right next to the oil filter so whenever I change oil I can drain the can. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing. *by L***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2019* Amazing.
