**Q: Are the swan planters ceramic?**
A: No the planter is not ceramic. They are a heavy plastic. This this the second one I have had and I really like them. I wash them out at the end of the season, so they are ready for the next year. They also have a drainage hole in the back.

**Q: What are the measurements**
A: Overall length, beak to tail is 17".  Height at head is 16".  Height at tail is 10".  Opening at shoulders is 6" wide and tapers back to 2" at tail.  At shoulders is the shallowest depth of planter at 6".

**Q: What size pot (6", 8", 4", etc.) will fit inside swan opening?**
A: Opening measures at 8 1/2  inches long by 6 1/2. I have 2 swans and planted calibrochia’s in both swans, one I planted by putting rocks in bottom and soil. That was the prettiest. The other I just left  in pot came in,the one with soil was the prettiest as it grew. Although you can do either.

**Q: What are the width and length? What is the size of opening?**
A: It's difficult to measure with flowers growing in it, but this is the best I can do. It's 19" from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail. Probably The 16" that they measured is across the body. 10" wide. (plants were in my way). Opening 10" long, 6" wide. I like this planter because it looks more like a real swan than the ones I've seen in the stores. They have extended bodies which make it look out of proportion.
