The mounts on the crank, screw holes were recessed and due to minimal surface area of the guard, was not able to drill holes through it directly. I had to align so the most surface area aligned with each screw hole, outlinethe hole onto guard & dremel out. Used stainless steel washers/ nuts and very flat head bolts to mount. With all tightened holds and looks great.
