I have used these sheets to cover the pinholes made and prevent new ones. The sheets are thick and slick and we have no new holes. I did have to reposition one sheet when placing and did so without any problem. I have rounded and stiched front corners of couch and it made it a bit difficult to place sheet- i had to cut and overlap onto the curved area and that is the only area where the sheet lifts off a bit.
