Our daughter really loves this tragic beautiful series of books even though some are hard to get currently. She thought volume 3 was a good emotional rollercoaster, the best so far and read this volume in one sitting not able to wait to pick up the next one. Review: An absolute shocker. The kids have been planning their escape from the beginning, but after what seems to be a crushing and absolute defeat by Mom at the end of the previous volume, all seems lost. With the situation seeming hopeless, one of the kids decides to push ahead with a shocking all-or-nothing last-ditch plan that I can only describe as one of the biggest "Oh s**t" moments I've ever had. The arc doesn't quite wrap up by the end of the volume, but I'm not saying anything in regards to how smoothly it goes. They print the end from page 161 to 192 at the beginning of the book, I mean in japanese reading... and you have it also at the end. So one folio of 32 pages is lost. So be aware of one print of this manga being unfortunately like this.
