The size chart for size 7/8 said it was for girls 53-54 inches tall. My daughter is only 52 inches and the dress only came to mid calf. We ordered the M 10-12 size and the length was down to her toes. We are very satisfied with the larger size even though our daughter is not even near the height that the size chart states. My 9 year old daughter is inbetween sizes right now (7/8 is getting too small but 9/10 can be too big) but the 9/10 fit her perfect and I feel it will grow with her for a little while since it’s a loose, stretchy fabric. Dress is soft & comfortable, my daughter didn’t want to take it off! Only complaint is that it’s hand wash only but still worth having. Especially love the price and that it’s made in USA.
