I have swapped out the battery and the charger with the same results. It has been a slow death. Been struggling for the last 6 weeks; adjusting the cord, switching outlets, etc. It has slowly gotten worse and worse until today, nothing will charge the battery. The laptop will still run but the battery refuses to charge, otherwise it's a 1 star.*** Original Review *** It fits and it works. Unfortunately, the RJ45 port doesn't fit flush with the side of my Dell Inspiron 1545. There is a considerable gap around the port housing and the cosmetic case of the 1545. It's almost like there should have been some kind of plastic frame around the ethernet port that they just didn't put on the board. It's not some subtle thing, either. It's an obvious thing that sticks out like a sore thumb. It will look like you don't have to remove the motherboard to replace this part, don't be fooled.
