**Q: Has anyone ever experienced a "slipping" where the handle just slips when retreiving on the second speed?**
A: That may be normal depending on your drag setting and whether you were hauling in a fish. Reels will 'slip' or just spin in either gear if your catch is big enough. If you were not hauling a fish in, you probably have to adjust the drag. Typically the strike drag is set to 25-30% of the line strength.
