So yummy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice quality sardines and oil, not very spicy *by E***K on April 10, 2026* Easy to open can. 4 belly up, nicely sized whole Pilchard sardines that are neatly arranged. The deens' texture is on the drier side if you're comparing to Nuri, but still very enjoyable to eat by themselves. I did notice a couple scales in my cans, which may be off putting to some, but if you're comparing to Flower Moroccan sardines, Matiz have much less. The oil tasted nice, but I would not say this can is spicy by any means. I have consistently found 1 pepper in my cans, which doesn't seem to bring much heat. Not something hot sauce can't fix. In terms of value, these are good quality sardines, but for me, this would be a 'splurge' can, not a daily driver. Though Nuri is my ideal 'splurge' can, they are getting harder to find and more expensive, this might be a nice alternative.
