The included drain assembly is the typical drain assembly with a drain plug that raises to open and lowers to close using a small wire handle that comes out of the back of the faucet. I replaced it with a popup drain assembly that is closed by pushing down on the drain cap (in the sink) and which pops up to open when pushed a second time. Both look the same after installation, but the popup is easier to install because you don't have to worry about leaks where the handle enters the drain tailpipe. **Q: How tall is the visible part of the faucet? amazon.com lists 16.5 x 9.8 x 3 inches, but I doubt this is the visible height.** A: At its visibly tallest the faucet is 6 3/4 inches. **Q: I have seen reviews says the hose of this model is short.
