I use a plug-in pump that came with something else. You can find pumps on Amazon for 6 dollars if you're willing to dig. This thing is big so I recommend a pump. I paid $16.99 for the footstool which is about as cheap as it gets. There are a few dark colored ones for $15 or less, claiming the same 23" size. I didn't care about the Rick and Morty design. I watch Adult Swim and like the show but for me, I just did not want to spend 30 to 50 bucks on a single footrest that will be hidden beneath my big outdoor rocker until I need it. No, it doesn't look like a real footrest obviously but Amazon sells round footrest covers for a good.price that will fit this. I only spent eight bucks for the stool and even if I spend another 8 for a cover, I will get out for a fraction of what Amazon was charging at the time for an outdoor footrest. I actually purchased 2 of these stools but couldn't find my inflator and had to blow this thing up using my lungs. Felt like I needed an iron lung when it was over so I'm only using one.
