## Description

Singing bowls are used for meditation and relaxation or simply for music. You place the singing bowl in your hand, or on a small pillow or soft floor and slowly rub the included striking stick along the outside of the bowl. It will gradually begin to sing, and the volume can be controlled by the user - rub softly for low volume, rub harder for higher volume. You may also strike the outside of the bowl first and then start rubbing the outside. Singing bowls were historically made throughout Nepal, China and Japan. They are closely related to decorative bells made from the Near East to Western Asia. Today they are made in Nepal, India, Japan, China and Korea.

    Not a good value for the money

These bowls are not hand hammered. They are obviously  spun on a machine. They come ery rough. I ordered 5 of these for gifts. The rims were dinged on almost all of them. Not a good value for the money. I suggest Mandala Crafts Plain Tibetan Singing Bowl Rin gong  inches, six bucks less ad a wonderful entry level fine finished smooth playing nice sounding bowl.

The bowl is more beautiful in person than the photo can show.  The etching on the sides and inside are more visible.  Thedesign inside the bowl on the bottom that is very beautiful and more subtle than the photo conveys.  Product is high quailty. Delivery was prompt.  I would purchase again, with full confidence from this vendor.
