I have a very curly birds nest of a beard, I've never used a straightener before but this one works well. Once it warms up it take only a couple of minutes to comb through my mess of a beard and leaves it quite straight. Which is impressive, and it makes my beard at least an inch longer since its straight and not all over the place. It takes between 1 - 2 minutes to get to the hottest temperature and then only a couple minutes to straighten everything out. So if I have 5 - 7 minutes of free time I can get this done before I leave the house no problem. And its a fairly inexpensive product, I'd say its a good bang for buck.
