When you set the time, program the meal times and portion sizes (just to test), if you switch off the unit, this will factory reset. If you follow the instructions to turn off the unit to clean, to take off the head, you'll lose all you have programmed and the time. You'll have to reset everything again. I can't be bothered to record my voice as it'll have to be done over and over everytime it's switched off! It can't remember what has been programmed 😐 You can't see how low the food level is due to the dark as night window on the front. No low level food indicator. You have to get a real firm grip on the whole unit to unlock the head/lid. No infrared as advertised. Is there a way of taking the top off without having to remove the whole head? No instructions to show this!!! Don't want to break this trying. I'll give this 24hours.
