These gloves are better than what I expected. Finally I'm able transplant my dragon fruit and cactus plants without fear of getting jabbed by thorns. The long thick sleeves cover my arms up to my elbow and fingertips and palm reinforced with a type of vinyl over the suede.Only problem is that they are so beautiful that I don't want to dirty them up. In addition they go up further on the arm to offer more protection then normal gloves that go to the wrist.The downside is I would not recommend these gloves if you are doing anything other than very basic gardening such as transplanting from a nursery pot to another pot or putting something into the ground. If you are working with anything prickly or thorny these are not the gloves for you.
