They were heavy and stiff - very difficult to put on especially if windy or stormy. These covers are light weight and have adjustable hooks on all four corners. I just added a piece of pink duct tape to mark the front and it made it easier to put on. For the first time, I store the cushions right on the chairs rather than bringing them in. Everything is completely dry when the rain has passed. Storage is in a small bag. With the other covers, they almost needed large boxes or bins. I purchased two love seat covers for 2 sets of chairs. That works well along with a coffee table cover. Everything is well protected.
