Fun and addicting *by S***L on June 27, 2021* I finally took the plunge and bought this board once it went on sale. It had been on my wish list for a couple of years. I love that it's great for beginners that have zero experience with skateboarding. It feels pretty stable, and I get a little bit better and more confident every time I take it out. I highly recommend wearing all the protective gear, and just practicing on a basketball court or empty parking lot. I found it highly useful and helpful to watch the Elos tutorials, as well as YouTube tutorials for the absolute beginner. My elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards just came in today, and I can't wait to take it out to the basketball courts or parking lots. I can tell I will need lots of practice before I can go cruising around town. I will keep the trucks tight for now, until I improve. The benefit of practicing in a basketball court is that it forces you to work on turns, and provides a smooth surface. I am a female in her early 40s that enjoys working out. I lift weights and love the outdoors. I paddle board too. My friend that is in his early 60s, bought one too, on Prime Day for $129.99. He kept using mine, and said it's a lot more fun than he thought it would be. We both agreed it's the first skateboard we stood on that doesn't feel like we're going to fall and crack our heads open. We find it addicting, and so fun! I thought my friend would have been zooming right away on this board as he is a surfer. Surprisingly he's having to practice and watch the tutorials as well. He's not as balanced as I thought he would be, for a surfer. Please do yourself a favor, and treat yourself to this board. We all deserve some fun and excitement in our lives, especially after going through Covid. Be patient, and Make sure you practice, practice, practice. I posted this video is after taking it out a few times.
