The fabric is not overly warm. It has a smooth finish that makes it look appropriately dressy and the crochet band at the bottom adds a little style without being too eye catching. The cut and sleeves are very flattering. As can often happen, the deep forest-y green in the pic is not what it looks like. The color you actually get is not nearly as rich a green as the pic. Quite a bit lighter and cheaper looking. As is the lace bottom, which was by far my greatest disappointment. For one, it's not nearly as wide as the pic, and very homeade crochet looking. It's more like an applique look and texture than any kind of lace. The pic looked soft and delicate, what I got is borderline rough and def mucu cheaper looking. Having said that, I recognize that you do only get what you pay for...I do really like the fit, and for the price I paid, I'm going to keep it.
