Not your usual bike: something else from 21st century)

I didn't buy it from Amazon. However, there are no reviews here, but it's great bike. So I'll write one.Handling 4 inch "fat" tires are very different even from "mountain bike tires": the front wheel is very heavy; motor is adding the extra weight as well. I rode it one time, but my arms are killing me know. It's really hard to steer). I'll have to change my 30 years of bike turning dynamic habits (because the tires are way too wide comparing to what I am used for). There is no instruction manual. Assembling, and especially connecting front wheel might be challenging. I have a degree in mechanical engineering so I've figured it out (still not 100% sure), but I am not sure about an average Joe's ability to assemble it correctly. It's 60lb.Otherwise - there is no competition to that bike for the rest of features/specs. Not even close. In my opinion, unprecedented quality for that price.Edit: (after 3 month of use) Bike is OK quality. Bottom bracket (pedal axis) started make grinding, popping, and clicking noise. So let's just say that bike is falling apart now.

Incredible in snow and icy conditions - came with studded tires, from local store. Test rode and bought it on our snowiest day so far this winter, in Anchorage Alaska, November 2015. Rode it 24 miles the first day, most of the way in 6-8 inches of fresh snow, a challenge and could not have made it through deeper snow without the assist of the front-mounted motor. The front/all-wheel drive helps tons in slogging through snow, up hills, and in icy conditions. The odometer is now at 491 miles, and while most of the riding is from my 15.5 mile (each way) commute (just right for one 5 hr battery charge, while using max/level 5 motor assist the whole way) I've also ridden it on a variety of terrane (frozen rivers, glare ice trails both flat and hilly, yesterdays lumpy-icy beach ride, and up a couple steep mountain roads). I'm so impressed and happy with this bike that I plan to buy a second one, just so any friend/my son can join me and still keep up (motor kicks off at about 20 mph so it can legally go where bikes can). I did a lot of research prior to buying, and besides wanting the front mount motor/AWD for winter conditions, there was also the bonus minor features, including a nicer fat seat with post shock, a sturdy rear rack, decent lights, a more upright handlebar adjustment, and flare-grips - plus mine came with both studded and stock tires, and I bought an extra charger to keep at work.Especially good for certain injuries, and the aged or out-of shape. When I bought the bike I was in recovery mode from a back injury, where as any sitting down/driving lead to pinched nerves and pain. So, while I could use the bus (standing up) sometimes, I was looking for other options for exercise plus transportation. During the first month, I rode the bike almost entirely standing and I used the power assist liberally, and often only the motor on leveler trails that were mostly cleared of snow. With heavy use of the motor, the battery has usually tired out by 15 miles, though lasted at least 25 miles when I peddle most to all of the time. I have biked for years during the winter, including in extreme Fairbanks AK conditions (to -30F) though not in recent years, since passing age 50, and since my commute increased to just over 15 miles, which feels long after a couple days even in the summer (when I also hike a couple nearby mountains in the evenings). Now, as long as the bike trails are reasonably clear of snow, the ride seams not so demanding or long when using the power assist, and I've shaved 10 minutes off my ride time (depending on weather/trail conditions). On ice with studs, the front motor has pulled me out of skids several times - love that!I recommend starting by adding reflective tape and a small round light on the back of the rack, plus poggies for winter riding (I use sleeves from a big thrift store coat :). Price is comparatively great for all that is included. The only slight downside is there are only 7 gears, though they are at least the right size to reasonably get up and around most terrane, until the next charge.
