Review: Affordable, high quality living room TV - I’m not a Tv connoisseur but I watch a ton of TV, sports, games, etc. I’ve had a 47” LG tv I bought for a similar price, but in 2012. This Tv is surely a big upgrade over that one. The Tv’s OS is way better than the 2012 version. The picture quality is amazing, and the size is nice. The legs feel a bit shaky (my tv even rocks back and forth a bit if you touch it, not sure if that’s intentional?). But it hasn’t impacted us at all after about 2-3 weeks. Long story short - I read so many reviews of different TVs and there are a lot of strong opinions out there. This TV is the perfect balance of quality and price for my family and I’m very glad I made the purchase.

I’m not a Tv connoisseur but I watch a ton of TV, sports, games, etc. I’ve had a 47” LG tv I bought for a similar price, but in 2012. This Tv is surely a big upgrade over that one. The Tv’s OS is way better than the 2012 version. The picture quality is amazing, and the size is nice. I'm usually one of those that sticks mainly to the Japanese brands and in particular Panasonic. Since the Japanese have moved out of the market I have to try other brands. LG makes a nice TV and the 4K performance is very good. I matched this 55" with the Amazon Fire stick 4K and 4K content is sharp. The features are good and the remote is one of the best I have used. The magic wand is awesome. The speakers have a good sound as well. It is replacing a Toshiba I bought about 12 years ago. The only thing I wished is that more licensing for apps would be allowed for LG. It seems Samsung has cornered the market for app licensing. For the money, this TV is great!
