I wanted something different other than lawn darts, or corn hole. Since the majority of my family are football fans, and my brothers played football, I knew this would be a perfect fit. And it was a hit at my BBQ. Almost everyone played. My one brothers who played in high school was all over this thing. He was teaching his girlfriend (who's never played) to throw and I think she was having more fun than him. I really appreciate that it has nets to catch the balls. However, on its own, it is a bit unstable. After so much play, it never once toppled over. But we were lucky. So I recommend using sandbags or some kind of weight on the foot of the frame. Also, not sure if I was just clumsy, but inserting the bottom pipe for the background/nets was tough. If you've struggled like me, it just takes a little more dexterity and patience. I also wished it came with more footballs. So many people wanted a shot and it felt like we were retrieving more than actually throwing. Highly recommended!
