Reusable eliminating waste..
I like that these loofa sponges are machine washable. They soften up once used a few times. I may throw the alternate ones in the machine first before using. They are a bit heavier than those plastic loofas. I just like that they are washable and reusable eliminating waste.

Great concept, Terrible product
This is a great concept, but a really awful product. First, I love the idea of being able to wash the body scrubber. I'm tired of buying loofahs just to throw them out. However, the first time I washed it, the threads started coming out. I love the natural fibers, but they are very, very scratchy. I love the idea of having a familiar shape, but even after sending it through the washing machine, the body scrubber is so stiff it does NOT easily wash in the most crevicey parts of the human body. And it takes more than twice the amount of soap for very, very little lather. The packaging is beautiful! I will say that! But I cannot in any way recommend this product.

Don't expect this to be like a traditional drug store loofah.
I purchased this hoping it would be a nice eco-friendly and reusable alternative to a traditional plastic loofah from the drug store. Unfortunately, soap does not suds up like I want it to and the rough texture isn't always comfortable. This body scrubber is more comparable to a wash cloth when it gets wet. It soaks up tons of water and soap, preventing the soap from lathering up unless a lot of product is used. I love being able to get soap suds all over myself when I am showering, but this just doesn't do the trick. Also it takes forever to dry, so I feel like these scrubbers are at risk of harboring bacteria...at least they can be washed and reused. I have sensitive skin, so I felt they were too rough for my preference. They also didn't really work well at getting into all the nooks and crannies like I would have liked. I am better off just using my hands to wash. If you often dry brush your body to exfoliate, you may like this product if you use it gently. I have yet to try to wash them with a fabric softener to see if that helps, but the varying thread textures throughout the cloth makes me think that won't work. I do regret this purchase.

They Are Nicely Made But The Material Is Too Stiff For Me
These shower puffs are very attractive and well made. I could tell that the person who made them took pride in their work. The thing I don't like about them is the material they're made of. I expected them to be rough because they exfoliate, and it's the type of roughness that exfoliates without leaving scratches on your skin. But they're also stiff, very stiff. It made them hard to hold onto and uncomfortable to use. They also don't lather. I thought I could fix that problem by putting my bodywash in a foaming pump. The foam just absorbed down into the puff and wouldn't come out when I squeezed or washed, even when I used a lot.I've washed the puffs multiple times thinking that might soften them up a little, it did little. I'm going to continue to wash them every week to see what happens. I think I could like these puffs made with the right material. Maybe the maker could consider doing that at some point. Not change up the puff completely because it appears some people think they're great, but maybe make an additional version for those who want something more pliable. Until then I'll stick with washcloths.

It doesn’t feel like a nylon loofah, but it is better for the planet!
this product basically feels like using a washcloth. It’s not super soft and the soap doesn’t lather much. It might get softer after a wash or two. I might also switch to a bar of soap instead of a body wash (save some more plastic that way too!). This is going to be a bit of an adjustment, but I’m really stoked to switch to something more sustainable!!

good concept but awful product
i love the concept of a reusable loofah that is machine washable but these are very disappointing. the fabric itself is pretty thick, so when you get it wet it soaks up all the water which in theory sounds good but in practice just makes for an extremely heavy loofah that does not create any sort of lather no matter how much soap you put on it. the material itself is also extremely rough and painful to use.

Great green idea but poor product
So nice that it’s good for the planet. Excellent idea but poor execution. Weird to hold and make a bath scrub out of it. Doesn’t dry very well (I realize because it’s cloth and not plastic). But most importantly, the first one (I still have two unused to go) fell apart and now I have a 3’x4” strip of rough cloth. Other than the good scrubbing quality of this product a washcloth works better.
