I had a scented wax warmer that was made of plastic and had three settings: off, 4 hour, 8 hour, regardless of how long I wanted it turned on. This one is either on or off. When I turned this one on, I was instantly impressed how it looked, like a poor man's Faberge Egg. Very impressive! Beautiful! Within 10 minutes my place was filled with Autumn Spice, my scent of choice. My only ding would be that it does not come with a warming bulb. I spent 20 minutes at Home Depot looking for the right bulb before ordering on Amazon. Unfortunately, you end up with 12 bulbs, but it's only a little over 10 bucks.
