Will these work with it?** A: Shotgun shell length is based on uncrimped length. Thus, a 2-3/4" shell UNCRIMPED becomes 2-1/4" CRIMPED. Just measure some live shells versus fired hulls to verify. **Q: What size are these things? 2 3/4 in minimum?** A: These are representative of 2 3/4 shells. The measurment is of a shell BEFORE crimping. That's why a 2 3/4 brass or steel shell appears longer, because they're capped instead of rolled. These measure closer to 2 1/6 long, which is about the same as a crimped 00 buck from most live ammo brands. These will represent normal shells just fine. **Q: Anyone try with Benelli M4?** A: I tried these in my M4, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The snap caps don’t have a smooth beveled edge like a real shell, and the sharp corners cause them to be difficult to load and feed.
