Although drilling holes through the hoops and center pole is cheaper it's also difficult and somewhat dangerous balancing up on a ladder at nearly 70. These were a strong, easy and safer choice. They worked well for my use. I like that they are galvanized steel to prevent rust and came with all necessary hardware.
