I had read reviews that said the black mesh is much easier to see through and it probably is, but I've found the glare of light on the khaki-colored mesh in front of the eyes isn't bad and is much lessened by wearing polarized sunglasses over the eyes. The size of my jacket is L-XL. It amply goes over my frame including a jacket the one time I wore a jacket with it. I believe it would comfortably fit someone quite a bit larger than me. It comes down in length to mid-thigh. The sleeves are long, but they can be made snug by pulling them tight. I tuck the snug attachment inside the sleeve and it does not get in the way.
