Because of how much he sheds I can no longer let him have the entire back of the car. I've since confined him to the back of the car and have put the seats back up. The fan does its job in keeping him cool in the back end of the SUV. I wish I would have thought of this sooner. It would have saved from having to have the car constantly detailed from dog hair. Now the dog hair stays in the back end of the SUV. Plus he gets the back window where there is one window getting nose prints instead of all 5. The plug for the fan uses a cigarette lighter but the cord is fairly long. Since I have them throughout my SUV I don't have to worry about it. Just keep that in mind when purchasing it. Review: WARNING!! WARNING!! - The quality is awful. Walmart fan for $12 was so much better. I think I'll go back and get another one of those. When I open the box, it was not marked, 24 V or 12V. It felt like it was 9V. screws were missing so I could not even attach the clip to one of them. On and off that's it. if I tell you this is the cheapest fan I've ever seen. Please don't waste your money. We might as well not even waste desertcart's time. Matter of fact desertcart needs to take this off their site that's how bad it is. It works exactly as stated. It does have an oscillating feature and an on/off switch.
