The product would no longer turn itself off after 5 minutes and resulted in draining two brand new AA batteries overnight. I of course, checked the battery compartment to insure everything was as it was supposed to be, then I tried it again with fresh new batteries and it drained them overnight as well. I requested a full refund or a product replacement from the seller but they have chosen not to respond. There are many other companies that sell products similar to this one.
