I am looking for that type and can't tell for sure if that is what this is.** A: Color is dark (unlike the Thai coconut sugar which is paler in color). Probably the same color as Coca Cola. The sugar is in solid tube form. To use you have to shave or cut with knife. It’s “soft” as in you don’t have to use a lot of pressure to shave or cut. You can pry some off using your fingernails (Unlike in situations where your brown sugar has been left too long in the cupboard and it’s hard as a brick lol).
