This chalk I must say performs remarkably well, the only possible reason I would to demerit it is that chalkboard are quite rare in my area (so I just bought one). A little pricey but it is very quality. Less dust than other chalk I have used. Goes down smooth with no hard spots. Does not want to break no matter how much you drop it, you basically have to smack it against a wall with all your strength to get it to shatter. I recommend this chalk.
