Looks good and sticks great to clean surface. *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2023* I used this to replace the seating pads on my classic Hobie wave. The key? "Cleanliness is next to godliness" I always say! I removed the old pads, in my case they were able to be removed complete in one piece. Its easy enough to use the old pad as a pattern, I marked spots on the patter to align the gaps on either side of the seat. I cleaned the rinsed the surface and re-glued the caps that are underneath the pads first. I then cleaned the surface using 99% Alcohol pads until nothing else would wipe off. Then I peeled and stuck the pads and trimmed with X-Acto knife. This product stuck well enough that I struggled trimming even small amounts because they were stuck so well. After one day in the hot sun, the ends seemed to curl up some, I had not gotten them wet yet, so I just pressed them back down and placed some weight on the curled edges. The next day they were tight and right and have not peeled anymore. I am going to say this product works well and give it a thumbs up! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value *by L***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2023* First time trying to do my own diy eva foam decking job. This stuff is thick enough to route. Doesn’t feel as firm/dense as SeaDek but that was almost twice as thick as this stuff. I don’t have a cnc (as you can tell from the pics) so templates it with chipboard, cut with razor knife and I free hand routed the inset logo and fish. The edges I used a Dremel barrel sanding tip on a stylus attachment going with the rotation to feather a beveled edge(4hrs!). Not precision by any means, but compared to the cost of precut kits…it works fine for me. I cleaned with acetone prior to install on this brand new kayak. Had a couple of spot I had to use some extra adhesive(Marine Goop) to get it to stay down…3 small areas on this whole job. The adhesive does get wrinkled after laying flat from being rolled up….but doesn’t seem to affect the adhesion. Only been out twice and hosed it down afterwards. Been exposed to the Texas heat/sun about 12hrs and 100°+ garage for about 1 month. Looks like it will last. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars VERY Thin - Recommend *by E***. on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2024* I was was disappointed as to how thin the material in between the raised matting was. If a person is not REAL careful and accurately install it exactly where it is intended to be, then it will shred in an effort to reposition it. Additionally, putting it down and grooming all of the wrinkles and air bubbles out of it is a real challenge.I'm curious as to how well it will hold up as it is quite soft foam like matting.
