I'm not sure how people broke theirs but I flexxed mine pretty hard and it's still solid. I've had this for about a month now so it's time for review.The gaps are perfect. It's cheaper than other alternatives so the trick is that you can't change the mount. You have to use what you see in the picture. As a result it looks silly to have it strapped there with no camera but it does it's job and that's all it needs to do.My only wish is that there were more color options. It would be nice if I could choose black or red rubber instead of that sky blue they provide.Also you have to tuck the straps away unless you want to taste them. It would have been all too easy for then to add a little circular piece to hold the ends of the straps but not a big deal if you are good at DIY modding. It broke after a few uses, it's difficult to tighten but now, with the newer GoPro's and they stabilization you can get away with it. The Chin is about as close as you can get to a FP POV so it works well in that sense.
