SERV. FROM MANUFACTURER, MISSING PARTS!!! - I absolutely loved the idea of putting the TreeTop Lounger in our livingroom. We remodeled the room & then redesigned it, all around this lounger. Due to a death of a loved one, it took a few extra weeks to get it up. At first, I was thrilled. It was exactly what I wanted. It had some issues, but thought it just needed to break in. The main problem, it sits way too high in the back. When you try to sit in that area, you are holding the sides, trying not to fall forward. It never levels out, it can't. Front Top Bar to Front Bottom Bar: 47" Back Top Bar to Back Bottom Bar: 26" There's no way for you to sit, or lay, in any position, but with your feet at the opening, because you would either be upside down or be rolling if laying from side to side. This is not a slight slant, it's quite dramatic; twenty-one inch grade, to be exact. I looked at the photos & only noticed this much slant, when people are sitting in the doorway. In all other marketing photos, it is level. Therefore, I emailed the manufacturer directly. PLEASE NOTE: I emailed the maker of the TreePod Lounger, through their website!! I explained my issues, in a humorous way, stating that there is a serious problem. I'm not a little woman & even with me sitting in the back, it does not go down far enough to "sit", without holding onto the sides, in an effort to keep from sliding forward. I made jokes throughout the email, I know people get complaints often, looking for any advise they could give. What I got in the return email, was useless & rude. They simply stated that "it should look like that", I needed to "find my center, it's not a hammock" (no kidding) & explained the proper way to get into the TreePod Lounger. By their response, you could tell it was a standard fill-in the name email. They did not respond to my questions or address my issues, whatsoever. I responded to their form email yesterday afternoon, explaining that again, they had not even read my email or helped in any way, shape or form. I again, quite desperate, begged for additional assistance. So far, 24 hrs later, I have had no response from the manufacturer concerning this product or what can be done on my end, to make it useable. On the part of the seller, I did not receive the rope, bag or hand strap, that the photo says is included. My box contained the frame, lounger & carabiner, only. It's not even that we've spent $600+ between the TreePod Lounger, frame/stand & accessories. It's the fact that my Mom & I designed thos room, while she was battling cancer & she has since lost that battle. It's a mission to get what she & I envisioned, completed, & the manufacturer was made aware of this fact. Review: Literally, love hanging out in this treepod. - I actually bought the lounger 5ft treepod, but received the cabana instead however, the company made it right. So far so good, it was easy to assemble and I’ve already had to disassemble it which was also easy. It’s really sturdy so far. Feels great to literally “hang out” in this treepod at night.
