Recommend Redbacks. *by L***D on December 20, 2018* These shoes were advertised as Industrial&Construction shoes. I am a mechanic for forklifts and i can tell you that these are not made for any type of industrial work. i ordered these on 9-13-2018 and today is 12-20-18 and as you can see with the picture provided they are trash. after about two weeks wearing the hoes the mesh like material covering the shoes started to rub off and tear from me standing from kneeling down. after about a month the sheet metal that makes them "Puncture proof" started chipping away causing jagged shards of sheet metal to protrude from the shoe stabbing me every time i walked or even put the shoes on. they are not water tight what so ever. they are made of plywood rubber 1/32in sheet metal and the steel toe all wrapped up in what can only be described as a light fishnet fabric. i would not recommend these shoes for any long term use and at that you can order redbacks for 100 bucks more and get at least 5 years out of them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ as many people recommended doing so if you wear insoles (Superfeet Green *by M***I on March 22, 2018* I ordered these shoes a size and a half larger, as many people recommended doing so if you wear insoles (Superfeet Green, in my case) one size larger would've been enough. That being said, that's more my mistake, and they're still good to wear.They're soft fabric/mesh shoes, which makes them light weight and malleable, but the steel toes gives them a nice weight to it, to where these are the most balanced steel shoes I've ever owned! You won't feel like you're dragging a sack of potatoes on your shoes, they weight as much as a regular pair of leather shoes.Because of their fabric, I wouldn't recommend these shoes if you'll be working in damp/wet areas. I work in dairy at a grocery store, so I spend most of my time in a fridge or freezer, mostly at 20f degrees (-20 in the freezer). After a couple of hours my feet do get cold, so I double sock and that takes care of it. Surprisingly the fabric has not tore so far! which is something I've never experienced with cloth/mesh shoes! Wish they had a bit more of a sole cushion, but as I said I wear insoles, so they take care of that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super comfy for feet that are difficult to shoe *by K***E on May 5, 2018* These steel toe shoes are AWESOME! My feet are super difficult to find shoes that work for me.. My feet are wide on the top and narrow at the heel.. I have a super difficult time finding shoes that fit well, that dont cause blisters and pain. I also have nerve pain in my feet that make finding shoes that dont make it worse.. these dont.. they are super comfortable. They run a little large but not hugely so.
