HOWEVER, there is no need for one. They are long enough that a little less than a half inch of the sponge is left outside the nostril. They are not soft and squishy before using, they are fairly rigid making insertion easy. They are the only thing on the market now that will stop my husband's nosebleeds. If you have chronic nosebleeds, do an internet search on the use of supplements cayenne pepper, vitamin K, and vitamin C as prevention. Those 3 taken daily have reduced my husband's episodes from 2-3 per week down to about 2 a month and they're less intense. The cayenne is available on Amazon in a "cool" version to keep from upsetting the stomach with the hot spice. Good luck. **Q: Is this the same as Bleed Cease?** A: I'm not familiar with Bleed Cease, but I can tell you this is a soft piece of fiber to push up in the nose or apply to cuts. These are long hard oval shaped pieces that you push up into the nose, they soften and expand as they absorb the blood.
