That seems to be part of the "upgraded design", which I didn't see as an option when I placed my order.The cover I got fits fine over my chair (a Sunnydaze Oliver model) and I can tighten the drawstring underneath the seat. We had a really rainy day recently, and the cover worked great! Chair and pillows are dry. (Now if it would only get a bit warmer so I can sit outside again...)I'm giving this four stars instead of five because there's only one "exit" for the drawstring. We've had the covers for about 6 months, and they work well. They are black with a slight sheen. Basically, they check all the boxes, which are few: they fit, they are waterproof, and the string at the bottom can be sinched tight to keep them from turning into giant parachutes. They're quite big, I imagine they could fit pretty much any suspended chair.
